Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd. is a Hong Kong based international airline that operates to over 40 destinations in the world. The company is now looking for an expert to train up its sales team. The sales force basically sells air tickets to corporate clients. Customers are mostly big international organizations.

The sales personnel is composed of people of varying backgrounds and level of experience. Our aim is to align their skills to a satisfactory level. We would expect the expert to design a suitable training program which covers from first to last step of the selling process, and to deliver the program effectively.

The intended sourcing process for the project is as follows:

1) Identify potential suppliers and study their background and competency 3 weeks
2) Meet with qualified suppliers and explain our requirements and expectations 2 weeks
3) Suppliers are then invited to submit proposals and 2 weeks
4) Presentation of proposals (if necessary)
5) Evaluation of proposals and appoint a supplier 1 week
6) Develop the course content with the selected supplier 2 weeks
7) Contract preparation 1 week

We are now in stage 1) of the process and I would like to invite your company to submit relevant information which at least enable us to understand:-

1) The history and nature of your company
2) Size of your company and geographical coverage
3) Core competence of your company
4) The market(s) where your company has strong presence
5) Experience in providing similar services
6) Experience in working with airlines
7) Experience in sales training
8) Client list
9) Client reference (provide at least 2 companies with contact information)
10) Your company’s website (if any)
11) Other relevant information you deem suitable
