Research into Change Programmes

default-16x9

There have been various studies showing why most change programmes fail and showing, in particular, that the key cause is failure to achieve changes in people's behaviour in line with what the new strategy/approach requires. Can anyone point me at any of these studies or generally at good sources for such research articles?

I have found a load of stuff that is related to this but not exactly what you are looking for. It looks not at the definitive “Succeed” or “Fail” aspect of change programmes but at the subject of what creates support for a change programme and what generates a negative impact.
I have the documents as word downloads, so if you are interested, email me at rus.slater@btinternet.com and I’ll send them by return

  2. Possibly!
I have some electronic articles on this as it was the subject of my MA. Drop me an email at Helenmathews@lycos.co.uk and I’ll see what I can find.

Alternatively contact your local Univiersity Business School and see if they’ll let you have access to Emerald System
