I have recently volunteered to research the feasibility of hosting a weekend residential conference in the Thames Valley Region (Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire etc)
Two questions
Any recommendation for good places, bearing in mind we are a charity and we might expect 100 delegates.
Anyone have a check list for organising such an event?

try venue finders
we use two venue finders,axis(sue@axisvenues.co.uk) and ellis salsby(venues@ellis-salsby.co.uk). We find that they take on the work leaving you time to get on with other matters. Mention me if you contact them.
