Resources required for Disability Discrimination Act Training Day

default-16x9

I need to cover all the basic areas but more specifically the ammendments to the Act that come online in 2004 and 2005, looking mainly at the implications for organisation as a whole.

The whole Act can be downloaded from the HMSO web site. I would start ( as we do) with an overview on present legislation, proposed amendments and current interesting case law.

You also need to include the HRA to be able to train in this subject area fully.

Videos can be hired or purchased and case study material can be yielded from using existing case law facts and building in discussion points in your own material.

We use Powerpoint to itemise the main points and then provide a searchable CD Rom with info to allow attendees to go away and use as a resource. It all depends upon what you are trying to achieve and the aims of the organisation in running the course.

Our groups run from lawyers, teachers, managers and in house HR professionals who wish to include more DDA/HRA in their recruitment strategies. All have shown a need to revisit the subject matter once intitial training has taken place.

    Best of luck

Hi, I’ve recently had some dealings with Robert Moltrum @ Disability West Midlands (0121) 414 1616 or [email protected]

I know that Robert is heavily involved in DDA training. Well worth talking issues through with him. Best wishes, Conall
