Retention of Staff

This post seeks insights on staff retention strategies from organizations in the social care sector, specifically those supporting people with severe learning disabilities. The author requests feedback on retention practices and average annual turnover rates to inform her CIPD research project.

I am currently doing my CIPD report on staff retention within my organisation. The organisation I work for employers support workers to care for people with severe learning disabilities both in a home environment and in supported living. I would welcome any feedback from other organisations on how they manage to retain staff and their average turnover per annum.
