Hello,  I am looking for some Risk Assessment training for a Team Leader who could then instruct his Field Service Engineers in Risk Assessment for when they are on customer sites.

I'm in the Bristol area - any suggestions welcome.

I work for an organisation that delivers this type of training, here are the details:

    RISK ASSESSMENT

The purpose of risk assessment is to help employers determine what measures should be taken to comply with legislative requirements. This risk assessment training will give delegates indispensable insight and guidance into the application of these legal requirements in the workplace.

NEBOSH FIRE SAFETY AND RISK MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATE

The NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management Certificate is designed for managers, supervisors, employee representatives and others with fire safety responsibility. The course aims to equip delegates to contribute to the conduct and review of fire risk assessments as well as fire preventative and protective measures.

  2. Risk Assessment Training

    Hello

We are a Health and Safety advice, support and training company and deliver Risk Assessment training to Managers and Competent Persons who can then go on and train their own staff.  We undertake this work across the UK.

Risk Assessing underpins all health and safety and, when undertaken correctly, really does lead to safer workplaces.

One training session is sufficient, but we can also provide ongoing back-up support if required.  The session takes approx 6 hours, is interactive and ends with a test.  We can offer accredited training (which costs more and takes a little longer to organise) or non-accredited training (which is the same course but costs less and can be delivered much sooner – we do issue certificates for this training).  Please call me if you want more information – happy to discuss the matter with you further.

  3. risk assessments

    Hi there

If you try http://www.hse.gov.uk you will find some great advice and sample case studies for risk assessment training, one word of caution, be sure that your team leader who is delivering the training is fully competent in the subject, I do not want to mistify risk assessments, but they are a serious business.

If you didnt want to go down the route of training all the engineers by an external H&S trainer, then maybe upskill your Teamleader (if he/she isnt already) to pass on the knowledge.

    Hope this helps.

    Good luck

    Risk Assessment (1 Day)

Risk assessment is the starting point for effective health and safety risk control programmes for all employers seeking to identify risks and reduce injury or loss potential.

The law requires all employers to conduct adequate and appropriate risk assessments of all work activities and introduce measures to minimise or control those risks. For many employers it is seen as an opportunity to evaluate business risks, eliminate or reduce risks where possible and more importantly seek to reduce losses and insurance costs.

    Designed for

All employees having specific responsibilities for other staff or work activities, ideally supervisors, team leaders or managers would benefit from the training.

    Objectives

    Delegates completing the course will:

    • Understand the concept of Hazard, Risk and Accident.
    • Understand the process and stages of effective Risk Assessments.
    • Be able to conduct suitable risk assessments and make judgements on risk control measures.
    • Be able to rank risks and set priorities.

Note: This course can be tailored to meet your exact needs. For further information or to obtain a quotation contact Line Business Services Ltd on 0117 986 2194
