Does anyone know of a good external provider of sales training that will do on-site courses? Our sales people sell IT solutions to companies in the finance industry. They already have good account management skills, so we're looking for courses that focus more on traditional sales skills such as cold calling, closing techniques etc. Ideally I'd like a company that has sales training as their speciality, as our sales managers can be reluctant to change and I think this would reassure them. I recently attended a course run by Leadership Development Ltd http://www.ldl.co.uk The course I went on was a public course but I would imagine they do onsites as well. I found it an excellent approach to sales and was aimed at experienced people.
I also attended a half day public seminar “Cold Calling for Chickens!” run by SpokenWord Ltd who also specialise in Sales training http://www.spokenwordltd.com The half day seminars are tasters for more in depth courses they run
