Secondments for Teachers

default-16x9

I am thinking of having a one day "secondment day" for all teachers within my school. I would like to give teachers the opportunity to organise their own placements, either to other schools to share practice, or to relevant commercial organisations to understand more in terms of their subject knowledge or management/generic skills.
I am keen to make this as meaningful and beneficial as possible, and want to make sure it is properly focussed, and that we evaluate it well.
Any tips, advice or comments would be extremely welcome!
Thanks

  1. EBP
You might find it helpful to get in touch with your local Education Business Partnership (if you have not done so already), as they may well already have some systems, paperwork – and above all CONTACTS – for you to tap into.

To find a list of all the EBPs, visit http://www.nebpn.org/aboutus.htm, click on your region and you will be given a list of EBPs with contact details.

    Hope this helps
