I have many exercises that I use and I’m happy to share them
Lesley,
I am a trainer consultant and coach, and use many different tools and exercises depending upon what the cleints requires at the time. I collect ideas from many different sources with the criteria that if it works then I’ll use it. If you want to give me a call or email me with a more specific idea of what you want then I’d be happy to help.
Best wishes

Preference vs Job Demand
Dear Lesley
Many of our clients combine the Margerison-McCann Team Management Profile feedback instrument, which looks at the individual’s work preferences, with the Types of Work Profile, which evaluates job demand. Highlighting a mismatch can be a great starting point for a discussion and ensuring the person can be guided to a role which enables them to do what they LIKE doing. Let me know if you’d like more details of this approach to career development.

Try Build Your Own Rainbow
As a career consultant, I used Build Your Own Rainbow as a good starter for 10. Exercises are simple, but work.
If you are interested in deeper issues to do with self esteem, look at our entry under Consultants – we are THE WHOLE PERSON COMPANY.
What works better than any book exercise is one on one coaching/counselling. It works better than doing it yourself – you don’t ask yourself tricky questions!
