Skills assessment tests

default-16x9

I am looking for either an authoring tool or a customisable tool that we can use to write skills assessment tests, primarily for Microsoft Office but with other uses in mind also. Can anyone recommend a UK-based supplier?

  1. configurable assessment tool
SkillShelf based in London, I saw their product last week – you can author questions easily – I know of a couple of other UK assessment and authoring tool vendors but they aren’t as configurable. Please email me if you would like more information.

  2. Testing
QuestionMark produce software that allows you to develop on line tests and capture results data. You can author your own questions or purchase generic ones which you can then add to. You can tact me on [email protected] for more details

  3. Re: Skills Assessment Tests
Multimedia have recommended our software, but if you would like to go directly to our website
you will be able to find more information. We have recently released a new CD complete with an evaluation copy of Perception and learning cafe content which I would be pleased to forward to you. http://www.questionmark.com

  4. Kenexa Ltd provide an excellent on line testing facility
Kenexa Ltd provide a product called proveit, which has a whole host of IT and soft skill tests all the way from Typing skills, telephone skills to technical MCSE skill tests great to use as a TNA or as a recruitment aid. You pay per test. Phone number is 020 7659 3969 my contact is Atul Patel and his email address is [email protected].

    Good luck

  5. ready made editable Assessment questions for MS Offices
We sell a database of several hundred pre-written questions for Microsoft Office (and other IT subjects) can be imported into an assessment engine like Question Mark’s Perception product. Compared to the cost of creating and validating all the questions yourself it is much more cost-effective to purchase them and edit them to your needs. The same is true of course materials, and Web-Based Training which we also sell and all of the questions map to topics in the courseware so you could recommend learning paths based on the restults.
