SkillSoft, a leading provider of elearning and performance support solutions, has announced its ‘Star Status’ accreditation from UK-based workplace engagement specialists, Best Companies.
Best Companies – co-creator of the annual ‘Sunday Times Best Companies to work for in the UK’ survey – established Best Companies Accreditation eight years ago with the aim of identifying excellence in the workplace.
Research revealed the key driver of a firm’s sustainable business performance to be ‘workplace engagement’ amongst its employees. The Best Companies Accreditation scheme was developed to recognise the organisations that have achieved high standards in this area.
As a provider of elearning learning to over 3000 companies with 10 million users worldwide, SkillSoft is pleased have been awarded this accreditation from Best Companies.
“SkillSoft’s mission is to maximise business productivity by providing elearning and effective support solutions that link corporate strategy with employee performance. For our UK operation to be named a “first class” organisation by Best Companies as a consequence of what our employees have said about us, means a huge amount. Knowing too that the solutions we provide to our customers help them achieve similar goals, is what SkillSoft is all about.” says Nina Michell of SkillSoft.
The Best Companies Accreditation awards – that revealed the star rankings of accredited organisations – were held at the Cumberland Hotel, Marble Arch, London W1 on 27 January.
