default-16x9

The Institute of Management has recently published a research report called 'A Question of Quality' which surveys performance improvement initiatives throughout the UK. The report was sponsored by the British Quality Foundation and the author is Karen Charlesworth.

"Over the past two decades, organisations in the private, public and voluntary sectors have adopted various approaches to "quality" or performance improvement. The aim of the research project was to examine the actual experience of individual managers involved in the implementation of performance inprovement initiatives."

A summary of the report is available online for download as an Adobe Acrobat file. The full report can be purchased from the Institute at a cost of £20 (members) and £40 (non-members).
