Taking Minutes at Meetings

default-16x9

I remember watching a video in my previous organisation as part of Learning at Work Day about how to take minutes at a meeting.

I cannot remember who produced it but I do remember that it was very useful. We have had a lot of requests for some help in this area and I thought I could use the video as part of a workshop to make it more interesting.

I have tried Video Arts but they only have a video about chairing meetings.

Please help!

  1. Ask at your local college
    Hi Alka

I don’t have anything to recommend but, many years ago when I was at a Secretarial and Business School, I remember seeing a film about this. That makes me think that if you contact a local college which you know runs a reasonably advanced secretarial course, you may find they can suggest a title for you.

    Hope this helps.

  2. practise in minute taking
In the absence of a video dedicated to minute taking, I have found making my own recording of tv programmes such as Question Time can be useful to give particpants an opportunity to practise their skills
