Team Behavioural analysis

default-16x9

I have started this task by conducting a gap analysis of target and current behaviours and need to define a questionnaire that the management team can use to facilitate a discussion around what makes a good team.

Any assistance would be appreciated

Many Thanks

  1. Simple is best
    Hi
It seems to me the simplere the better. What I’ve done in the past is to ask them to answer the following; what is the best team you’ve ever been in, why was it good, what were the component parts, who led it, what was the style, what were the goals and so on. Reverse this for the worst also. Get them to bullet it on flip paper so they know what to go for and what to avoid. This works well and they believe they came up with all the answers. Hope this helps.

  2. A process to use
One of the tools you could use is TeanFlowSurvey,,based on the FLOWS model of high performing teams. That has 50 behaviours that contribute to HP Teams. Have a look at http://www.valueflows.com to find out more and get some free downloads of articles etc.
You could use this for the management team to rate review its own situation and make improvement plans….as a way for them to understand the model and its applicability for their purposes in helping other teams.
Happy to discuss if you call me 07702249644 or email.
