Telephone Recording Equipment

default-16x9

Hello

I am currently researching (with a view to purchasing) some basic telephone recording equipment to allow telephone-based staff to record some of their calls, so they can be used for coaching at a later date.

I have had a look on the internet and there are a few about that are literally a tape recorder that plugs into the phone and records onto regular audio tape and this appears to be just what I am after!

I am after a couple of things – does anyone have any experience of using this sort of thing? What is the sound quality like? Also, if anyone has any recommendations that would be useful too!

Thanks very much

Lucy

  1. Telerecorders
    Hi Lucy,

For several years I have been using a telerecording kit from Maplin Electronics which is compatible with most phone systems. It costs £50 and is available on line : http://www.maplin.co.uk
It’s called a Telephone Conversation Recorder and just plugs into the bottom of the phone.
This is one of the cheapest and easiest to use and the sound quality is quite good.

If you want to chat further please feel free to call me on (0118) 9875683 and I’ll be happy to help.
