Does anyone have any experience of the speed and reliability of Telewest's cable modem high speed Internet connection service and of Blueyonder, Telewest's associated ISP service that comes with it?
If so, I would be grateful for a brief summary of the pluses and minuses as its newly available in our area and the theory of it sounds too good to be true.
Does it improve Internet access speed by 10 times and more?
Is the service available on tap all the time or does it suffer from lots of downtime?

Telewest
Just to say that I have been very disappointed with the service provided by Telewest and Blueyonder – not only in terms of speed of access but also in speed of response / attitude to problems on their customer service line. Also had billing problems, direct debit payment problems – of course this is just my experience and in my opinion – maybe it’s me that’s doing something wrong and they do provide a wonderful service really ???????
Am in the process of checking out other providers on the basis of my own experience …
For what it’s worth, there’s my two pen’orth.
