The use of the outdoors

default-16x9

I am interested to hear from those who have responsibility for selecting external organisations that deliver training courses or development programmes that use the outdoors.

What I am interested to hear are your motives, reasons possible expected outcomes from such an event balanced against using just the indoors.

What do you see as the benefits, if any?

What are the possible downsides, if any?

If you were to complete the statements;

1. A successful course that uses the outdoor would......

2. A successful course that uses the outdoors would not...

I would also like to hear from providers of such services who, will be clear as to the answers to the above (or are you?)

Please offer your comments openly or direct if you wish.

  1. The use of the outdoors
    Dear Mr Richardson

    If you forward me your email address I will send you a short piece I wrote which explains my reasons for using the Outdoors.

    I actualy did my Master’s thesis on this topic, on its benefits and uses, both good and bad.

    Hope to hear from you.

  2. outdoor reflections
    Nick , it all centres around the values of the provider you are using. The outdoors is a great vehicle when linked to quality team and individual process reflections. The outdoors for ‘outdoors’ sake is of little value.

    Terranova a vendor I know well understand this call them on 01877 331666
