Tips on smart e-mail management

I have been researching e-mail training practises for some time -- there is not a lot going on in companies! So I am running some workshop pilots. I would welcome any further advise and general source information. I am happy to share my subsequent programme.

  1. Try Xebec training (CBT)
The only course I’ve seen is a computer based package from Xebec (easy to find online). They have a CD product which I haven’t seen, but is fairly new. Might be worth a try, good luck.

  2. Professional e-mailing
Andy, are interested in technical training for using e-mail or the professional use of it as a business tool? If the latter, I could help as I ran some short workshops as part of a modular business writing programme. Feel free to call on 01708 714444.

  3. i have also had the same idea!
i am also looking to run a similar course. i have started to design something and have broken the course down into 3 main areas – when to send e-mails and when to use other forms of communication, sending the right message (grammar, structure etc) and managing your inbox (time management). There is loads of information on the internet. If you are interested in discussing ideas further, please feel free to e-mail me on i would also be interested in seeing how you decide to structure a programme.
