Top This for Guidance on Making a Presentation

default-16x9

There are plenty of YouTube videos on how to or how not to make a presentation, this however was only uploaded 7 days ago and it's one of the best and funniest I have encountered.

  1. but what happens next?

    Hi Garry

This is certainly funny and to the point where we have all seen some of the problems it highlight it is very pertinent.  The actualy delivery method is very clever too.

I can see this being a very good way to open a presentation skills programme but the really important element will be the answers to two questions

    1. "What will you do to ensure that you don’t end up with the same internal dialogue as the guy in the video?"

    2. "What will you do to make sure that your audience don’t end up with the same internal dialogue as the audience on the video?"

Thanks for posting this……I used to think that you spent way too much time on YouTube for a guy with a job, but now I can see that just because YouTube does contain lots of irrelevant and irreverant videos that doesn’t mean it isn’t a good source of learning material!

  2. Excellent

…and an eye opener. Has made my office slump into a reflective silence!

    Thanks, Garry.

  3. Here i am replying to a great video post!!!

Excellent video Garry. One i shall incorporate into my own presentation course. I was one of your CTP delegates over 12 years ago at Woodland Grange and it is good to see you are still looking for innovative ways to deliver.

    Keep them coming!
