Businesses proud of their training and staff development programmes are being invited to enter the 2005 National Training Awards.

The awards, now in their 18th year, recognise and reward achievement in training, learning and personal development.

They are open to any size of organisation, there are three levels of award, starting with stages in Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the English regions. Winners in these regional categories then go through to a national final.

The deadline for applications is 29 April and for those entering the awards there is a comprehensive support programme provided by the organisers. The programme includes a handbook with advice on how to complete entry forms, workshops and a mentor scheme.
