I would be interested in hearing about any experiences in training groups of individuals employed by political parties and members of parliament (advisory and electoral staff). In particular, experiences relating to examining occupational training needs and evaluating training outcomes for these types of employees. Thank you.

I saw something in The Times the other day about the Conservative Party training field staff with a locality focus similar to the Lib Dems community politics. And when I was at the LGA Conference in Harrogate last month, I met an Independent Councillor who told me about how much the LGA AND ILEA do to develop political awareness.He had also attended privately a number of courses from a company under the theme Active Citizenship. I can find the councillor’s details if you need them.
