Training on Policies and procedures

default-16x9

I have an induction programme for a specific business unit which runs for 5 days. Within this is a 2-3 hr module on Servicing the Customers. The key leanring objective is for the partiicpants to come away with an AWARENESS only of the need to follow various policies and procedures. I have four scenarios (developed by the business) which they discuss in small groups and we debrief. The problem is its abit flat and I was looking for some more creative ways of facilitating this awareness. Any Ideas?

  2. Awareness is fine but …
In similar circumstances I like to get learners to apply the policies and procedures. Therefore, I design instructional sequences that require people to do real work exercises. My staffs use computers to process applications for grants which has a linear process. Instruction I design requires learners to do exactly what they will do on the job while having to make decisions based on policy and procedure. It works very well.
