The evaluation debate continues this week on TrainingZONE with
Godfrey Owen's belief that organisations need to take a long-
term view to recognise the benefits of a leadership programme.
Paul Kearns and Martin Schmalenbach have criticised some of
Godfrey's views, but John Hughes is persuaded. In fact he
wonders whether in view of this long term approach "training
provider fees should be based on such long term results with a
'deposit' fee followed by supplementary fees at mutually agreed
milestones".
