TrainingZone Twitter

default-16x9

Just as some feedback to TrainingZone and nothing more I have to say I have just this minute unsubscribed from their twitter. The recent virtually one a minute postings were a little too much and not that informative or interesting for me, like standing next to a room and hearing only snatches of a conversation.

Others might of course get something from this, I don't. Interested to hear followers direct experience of this and their reactions.

  1. twitter ot twittering

Hi Garry, I have to agree – this is not what twitter is/ was designed for – sure tweet useful statements/ comments – but not a like stream of what should be a "blog" into a micro-blog.

it seems that the strategy that TZ had for twitter has drastically changed – or worse… there is no strategy!

  2. Twitter policy

    Hi Garry and Mike,

Thanks for your feedback re our recent Twitter policy. We used the @trainingzone account to cover a few seminars and discussions from events over the last couple of days. I can assure you that the rate of tweeting won’t be like that every day, but it is our social media policy to cover events using microblogging tools such as Twitter when we’re out of the office.

We are always experimenting with the best way to do things in terms of new platforms, so thanks for your comments and we’re sad to see you go. Please keep contributing to the other aspects of the community, if not the social media parts!

    Many thanks,

    Jon
