In a word – Discipline.
Its been almost 6 years since I launched Optimus Sourcing and the biggest thing for me is the discipline. You can have all the other skills and talents in the world but if you don't keep your discipline to do the things that must get done then you don't succeed.
Of course being committed to working hard, self motivation and motivating others are also very important.
What Makes A Great Leader?
In my opinion the ability to successfully execute the idea of finding new & unique idea is what separates the dreamers from the entrepreneurs.
Being able to clearly & succinctly describe what you want done is extremely crucial if you own a business. If you can't relate your vision to your team, you won't all be working towards the same goal. Communication & confidence are those characteristics that distinguish a leader.

Many successful entrepreneurs DON'T run organisations…..many people who run successful organisations are NOT entrepreneurs.
It is important to understand the difference between a good manager running a successful organisation well and an entrepreneur who has initiated something new.
