What tools can quickly recreate documentation for software training?

default-16x9

I'm managing training and documentation for an SAP R/3 European rollout. I've looked at a tool called Resite which automatically creates documentation in a Word format as a developer clicks their way through the software process. If anyone can advise of a similar product I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

  1. PTS might help?
    Trish,

A company called PTS Learning Solutions (in Milton Keynes I think)markets a suite of products for software trainers aimed at cutting down the time involved in producing documentation. It is a tree based, point and click tool that essentially allows you to pick and choose from a prewritten library of features to assemble your own document, customised if needs be. The produce packages for key PC apps, but the drawback may be that they don’t cover ERP stuff like SAP. Worth a look, sadly I don’t have anything more factual than a pointer to them. I’d be interested to hear how you get on.
