Which Qualification?

default-16x9

Howdy all.

I've been looking around for a while now to find a new and appropriate piece of recognition for my CV.

Im ideally looking for an L&D/training qualification but cant find anything that looks suitable.

I already have a Diploma in Adult Learning and the CIPD Certificate in L&D. I have looked into getting the diploma only to find virtually nobody does it. (A few claim to but only if enough attendees sign up. Which they never do.)

Im also a CIPD Associate Member but higher CIPD qualifications and levels of membership all seem to be HR based rather than specifically L&D.

I currently work as the sole L&D practitoner at a small to medium firm and my role is starting to become more of a "Training Manager" one.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be a valuable addition to my resume?

Cheers

James

  1. L&D suggestions

    Hi James

Take at the CIPD qualifications which are in the CIPD Training section of the site.

    http://www.cipd.co.uk/cipd-training/courses-qualifications/learning-talent?cipd_level=180

A friend of mine begins the Designing, Delivering and Evaluating L&D Provision (5th on the list) training through a Comptency based approach rather than face to face training.

If you wanted to discuss this with her i know she'd be happy to help.

    Good luck

  2. Thanks Blake

These are some of the ones I've been considering.

Some of the courses look pretty good too.

Any info I can get from your friend would be much appreciated. i.e. why she chose that qualification? etc

    Cheers

  3. Visit our pilot Postgrad Cert

    Hi there

We are running a pilot for a postgraduate qualification in delivery of soft skills and experiential learning. This will be rolled out fully later this year. You are welcome to sit in on a session and see what it's all about. It's being run at Roehampton University and is fully validated at Level 7.
