Early in the New Year, we will be holding a CPD event for the internal Mentors who support our in-house mentoring scheme. Is there a view out there about which organisations are known to run successful, well established schemes?

Hi Mark
Hi Mark
I was running a programme in Central London a number of years ago working with large companies mentoring SME's. I used the Oxford School of Coaching and Mentoring to provide the training. The feedback from the mentors was really positive. A couple of downsides I found was when I wanted to adjust the programme to meet the needs of those involved to be a bit more flexible (the training was a long programme and all training was done face to face). Which did not suit all trainee's, they were unable provide me with the flexibility. Cost were pretty steep as my budget the second year was cut which meant I was not able to use them again for the second year. I guess it depends on what you want and how much you are looking to invest. But on the whole it was a positive experience and perhaps a starting point for your research. I hope this helps.
Good luck with the programme
Best wishes
Judith
