default-16x9

Dr Itiel Dror, the celebrated cognitive and behavioural psychologist, has announced a one-day public workshop for learning professionals. Building elearning with the brain in mind will take place on 17th June in central London.

Dr Dror, of Southampton University's School of Psychology, is famous for his work on the role of the brain in learning, and regularly delivers in-house workshops for clients such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, B&Q and Orange.

“I decided to run this public workshop because there is increasing demand among the learning and development profession to understand the scientific basis for how the brain learns,” he explained.

The one-day workshop covers three key areas: how the mind works; ways to design e-learning effectively and the optimal use of technologies in delivering learning materials. Delivered with fellow neuro-scientist Tamas Makany, the workshop lasts one day, is highly interactive, and comes complete with reading materials for use both before and after the event.

Attendance at the workshop costs £495, with members of the Learning and Skills Group receiving a 20% discount. For more information, and to book, visit: http://www.onlineregistration.co.uk/cgi-bin/reg.pl?showdir=bewtbim
