The WOLCE event celebrates its 10th Birthday this year on 2/3 October at the NEC Birmingham by taking on a new name. The event is now called The World of Learning Conference and Exhibition and as one may notice the “open learning” aspect of the title has been replaced with “of Learning”. This is a significant change to one of the UK’s most established training and development shows and reflects the changes taking place in the training market today with the ever increasing use of new technologies in delivering training programmes.

Currently 89% of all senior training professionals advocate using blended solutions to complete the rounded training package they offer to their companies. Thus this year’s WOLCE event will now encompass all delivery methods of training which will not only be reflected in this year’s exhibiting companies but also in the conference programme.

This year’s conference consists of four themed development tracks; e-learning, blended learning, best practise in open and distance learning and face-to-face learning.
