A colleague has asked my advice about an appropriate resume format to help her find work in the UK in the finance/accounting field. In Australia, we probably use a more informal or American style. Should she change it and what would professional firms in the UK expect?

Carol – let me have your email address – I will email my resume/CV in 2 formats with an explanation of why there are differences in formatting. It is important to know at what level your colleage is at in management terms.
