Xmas Activitiy for Dept Meeting

default-16x9

Hello, I am hosting a dept meeting in a few week's time and would like to introduce a fun xmas themed activity for the attendees.  Does anyone have any suggestions.? The meeting will comprise of  two different teams from within one department coming together (all varying levels of job responsibility).  Thanks

  1. Hi Victoria,
    Hi Victoria,

We are a drama based training company and I think we could offer some great activities for your upcoming event. We specialise in creative workshops for team development and offer everything from skills based learning to fun and relaxed activities.

Some of our previous sessions have included putting on a ‘Play in a Day’ which could be adapted to a modern day Nativity or even a contemporary spin on A Christmas Carol.

Another activity that is always a lot of fun is our ‘Game Show’ which we could design with a festive theme, complete with game show host, buzzers, score boards etc.

All of these activities can be adapted to suit your budget, time frame and location.

Alternatively if you’d simply like some ideas that you could facilitate yourself we’d be more than happy suggest some. I’ve already chatted to my colleague about Manger Danger which involves two teams trying to save baby Jesus, for the more competitive xmas activity or Sneak-A-Peak a problem solving exercise involving Wisemen vs Shepherds.

Let me know if you would like any further info, our website is http://www.differentduck.co.uk and you can reach me directly on [email protected]

    Kind regards,

    Rachel

  2. Hi Victoria,
    Hi Victoria,

We did a quiz the other week and though I was unable to attend, I saw pictures and videos that showed me it was a lot of fun and not your average quiz!

There were “physical” challenges such as a mince pie eating contest – first to finish 3 won, and an “After 8” challenge where you started with a block of the minty chocolate on your eye and had to get it into your mouth without using your hands.

Or check out this site, seems to have some cool ideas: http://www.party411.com/PlanYourParty/Holiday/Christmas/ChristmasPartyGames.aspx

Also with your two teams, it might be good to split them into three “activity” teams which mixes people around so they get to know each other better.

    Good luck!!
