Accreditation?

default-16x9

I would like to get my courses accredited - either NVQ or other alternatives, they are short courses but could easily be developed and extended if required. What is the best organisation with a reputable organisation and how do I do it?

Many thanks

Majella

  1. Accreditation

    Hi

Short courses wouldn’t really map over as NVQ as they are competency based rather than knowledge based.

My first point of call would be to look at the Sector Skills Council/Awarding Bodies for the sector you operate in. Most awarding bodies will be able to help you map your content to a qualification but you need to be aware that to get something accredited, there is a requirement to assess/validate the learning through some kind of assessment.

I have spent the last year mapping our Management Development Programme to a qualification and it’s a lot of work but the rewards are obvious.

  2. Thanks!

    Hi Anthony

many thanks for the response this is really helpful. Any chance of a conversation about what you have had to do?

    Best wishes
