Aggresive People

default-16x9

There are well documented methods for dealing with difficult people. At the other end of the scale there are violent people. I would appreciate bullet point information on practical ways for people who have gone beyone 'difficulty' but not yet 'violent' ie they are 'aggressive'.

Are there simple, yet practical, aspects of posture, phrases or actions that help calm and prevent further escalation.

  1. Try this book…
    Hi Brian,

Here’s a book that I’ve found really useful, although don’t be put off by the title (as I nearly was!).

It takes you through a series (12) difficult people types – 6 aggressive and 6 passive – and help you to consider why they are behaving like they are. It then provides guidance to dealing with these ‘difficult people’.

The hyperlink below takes you to the book on Amazon:

By the way, the title is Dealing with People You Can’t Stand(!)

    Good luck!
