Simon Derry started his ‘career’ in the Army. After a few years in operational and planning roles worldwide he briefly joined the NHS as a Directorate Manager for a London Hospital Trust. Simon joined Psion Plc as Customer Services manager around 1994 when the company was rapidly becoming as the world’s leading handheld technology company. After 3 enjoyable years managing the call centre and technical support functions Simon joined Kepner-Tregoe Ltd, a US based consulting firm.

Whilst working in the UK he gained an MBA from Henley Management College and qualified as a Prince2 practitioner. He is one of the founding Directors of Project Leaders International – a consulting organisation which works with client companies where he specialises in Innovation Management and New Product Development (NPD) techniques.
