CBT – Software

default-16x9

I am thinking of using CBT to train staff across the country in various subjects. I am looking for some good (but relatively inexpensive) and easy to use software that will enable me to build my own CBT courses. Can anyone recommend one? Please.....

  1. CBT Software
    Hi Emma,

This obviously isn’t an easy answer. As you will probably be aware, people expect a lot from e-Learning these days – you may find that whichever product you choose (I’m deliberately not going to mention any) you can’t meet their expectations.

That said, you now have two options:

    1. Use products such as the Macromedia Learning Suite – which gives massive flexibilty but have a huge learning curve.

    2. Choose a product from an e-Learning technology company that has a smaller learning curve but has less scope for future use.

Either way, I would suggest you work with an external specialist on the first project – I know a few.

Please feel free to contact me.

    Good luck

We have recently purchased software from Trainersoft that is meeting all our needs. If you are an inexperienced programmer then this software is ideal as very little hand-coding is required to achieve the desired results.
