Clifford Chance (LLP) (www.cliffordchance.com), one of the largest international law firms in the world, with more than 7500 employees and 29 offices in 19 countries worldwide, recently started working with LMS IntraLearn (www.intralearn.com). The launch of the LMS as a management tool is an innovative approach for a law firm, with advantages such as cost-saving, effective training and logistic streamlining.
The implementation was done using Xaurum (www.xaurum.nl), service deliverer in E-learning. The IntraLearn environment was created with worldwide accessibility for all Clifford Chance lawyers.
The Clifford Chance LMS will be used for general courses, meant for the whole company and for regional courses, accessible for certain groups of personnel. There are classroom and online distance learning courses. Within the system, each employee can keep his or her own educational profile and personal preferences up to date.
Xaurum has adjusted IntraLearn to the branding, language and educational processes of Clifford Chance and created interfaces with other systems. An automatic update of data takes place daily, which enables new employees to make use of the LMS immediately. It is also integrated to the Internet, which makes the environment and all courses accessible from the working or home environment.
