E-learning issue


Iam a currently in my final year at university studying business studies and have chosen to conduct my dissertation from a HR point of view, with special reference to e-learning. Iam looking at one company in particular which is a construction company and trying to identify whether they have any use for e-learning in their training strategy. I would be most grateful if you know of any useful information available on this particular topic - websites, books, reports.

    I received some information from an organisation called ebc – I think they produce e-learning solutions and they are offering a free seminar in Manchester on 7th February. It aims to give you an in-sight into real world implecations of e-learning, demystify the process and show some solutions. I think that they are after selling their products, however the seminar is free and there is no need to spend any money. Their website addres is

    The Construction Industry Training Board provide a lot of e-learning and they should really be your first port of call.
