   There are many aspects of H&S training, the site http://www.trainerbase.co.uk allows you to look for local trainers with the skills you want – no fee for you to use.

   Also look out for “Certified Learning Practitioners” (CLP), these are people that have passed a rigorous training and business set of assessments providing an assured trainer and provider.

2. Health & Safety training provider in the North West
   Hi Louise,

   You need to ensure the training provider is right for your business needs and that they deliver (pitch)the programmes to the audience in line with this. Our business is in the engineering & manufacturing sector and I have found Morris Material Handling offer excellent training at reasonable rates. Their programmes are delivered nationally. They have my recommendation.

   finding a good safety training provider in the North-West is a challenging question. The quick answer is that it depends which business sector that you are in – is it financial or is it heavy industry or chemicals? The training Company I would recommend depends on which sector would suit your specific needs. If you can let me have some more information I can point you in the right direction.
