Help needed concerning Situational Coaching

default-16x9

I am trying to write an Advanced Coaching skills course for middle/senior management.. As part of the programme I want to put managers through different role-plays focused on difficult situations that need coaching using different coaching styles..

Have one reference to coaching styles from John Heron, but dont know what book its from - talks about Push/Pull styles...

Can anyone help with the name of the book or has information of coaching styles and any good sources for role-plays/exercises?

Many thanks

  1. Try The Complete Facilitator’s Handbook
Fiona, you might try John heron’s The Complete Facilitator’s Handbook. I’m not sure this particular model is in there but it might well be. It can be obtained from http://www.Amazon.co.uk as can other books by John heron.

  2. thankyou
Thanks to Tom Boydell for your response and help with regard to the book by John Heron.. Had been advised previously that I should think about his work but couldnt determine which of his books was most appropriate – so thanks.
