Kanban Simulation – coloured plugs

default-16x9

I wonder if anyone can help me, in my early days of training when japanese concepts were being introduced into manufacturing, I used to run a course on Kanban (Just in Time), this course was fantastic and very hands on, it consisted of making different coloured electrical plugs, inserting all the brass connectors etc. Does anyone know if it still exists and where it originally comes from. I would like use this again but it was left at my old employer and no one knows of its whereabouts. If anyone has a list of components so I could build my own or the company's name that it came from, I would like to hear from you. Any other simulations ideas would be appreciated on the same lines
Thanks

  1. Prod Sim suppliers
There are a number of different production simulation games around at the moment, although they tend to be expensive. The Advantage West Midlands website may give you a few ideas.
