Keeping Fresh/Motivated in a sales environment

default-16x9

Hi
Hope you can help. I am working with a telephone sales department of a print and publishing company. I have been delivering selling skills development with the sales teams. I am hosting a follow up in a couple of weeks time where we will further examine techniques. They have requested tips and techniques for self motivation / keeping fresh, particularly as it is a repetitive job and that they do get a lot of rejection. The teams make outbound calls to Prospects, some warm but a lot of cold calling. Would welcome any advice, thoughts or ideas.
Happy Days!

  1. One size fits all – not!

if it were me I be inclined to give them some motivational theory training, then let them discover what their individual motivations are and then take it from there.
No “one size fits all” approach to motivation will work however you could include a variety of energisers.
