As companies search for more cost-effective solutions for delivering training to their global workforces, LearnCom, Inc. has announced the launch of its newest business and the first e-learning course, Jack Cade's Nightmare.
LearnCom, Inc.'s business units, including BNA Communications, have been providing human resource, management and safety training courseware, workshops and consulting for more than 50 years. The e-learning business will focus on critical compliance and HR issues such as employment law, harassment prevention, diversity management and safety.
"Building on our expertise in these subject areas, we will be offering measurable, reportable learning and behavioral change that can work with existing initiatives and be a cost-effective addition to a curriculum, and a significant improvement in creating a respectful workplace environment where employees enjoy their work and stay with their companies," said Lloyd Singer, CEO of LearnCom, Inc.
Jack Cade's Nightmare e-learning course expands on the best-selling, video-supported training program, which tells the story of a hapless manager who piled up liability for lawsuits potentially costing his company more than $4 million. The e-learning modules will include assessment, media-rich video clips, interactive pre-test/post-test questions and answers, e-mentoring, presentation slides and training management capabilities. Jack Cade's Nightmare will be part of a complete e-learning series, the Jack Cade Compliance Toolbox planned for release this fall.
According to International Data Corporation, the fastest growing segment of the $11.4 e-learning market is soft skills training, which is predicted to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 123% and overtake the Information Technology training market by 2003.
