Making Meetings Work

default-16x9

I've been asked to revisit/re-write a 3 day Making Meetings Work brief that seems to have come from the ark. It's the first time I've been asked to run this run this type of event so I'm struggling for ideas. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for a suitable event or could you point me in the right direction?
I'm looking to include such topics as discussion leading, progressing a meeting, how to get others to contribute and the skills of chairing a meeting. I'd like to include some skills practice so that delegates get the opportunity to chair a meeting/discussion.

  1. Video use to help highlight points
despite the fact they have been around for a while the Meetings videos from Video Arts are still excellent.

You might also want to start any training on this subject with some questions to help your audience open thier minds to the subject. Questiona about what meetings are really about and what can go wrong. If you would like to explore this in more depth please contact me on [email protected]

  2. Loads of ideas and materials
I’ve a vast range of materials on the running of effective meetings addressing all the points in your question. Please feel free to contact me, I’d be happy to discuss and share thoughts.
