Marketing my Coaching Skills

default-16x9

I have several years experience as a full time individual and team coach in a major Pharmaceutical company and would like to develop my skills and help others in business.

I have a diploma in Business Performance Coaching and am trained and experienced in facilitation, accelerated change management and continuous improvement methodolgy - but I have no idea how to go about using these skills to help those outside my organisation, which is how I would like to develop.

  1. Competition
    Hi Noel,

If you’re wondering why you have had no responses, it’s because you have asked your competitors to help you.

    How likely is that?

  2. from a competitor!!
    Hi Noel

As a coach I would not normaly ‘advise’ !!! however …. Are you marketing yourself as a coach or your coaching business? how are you different to your competitors? How would I as a client benefit fron your coaching?

I have learnt from experience that it is critical to really understand what you do and to be able to succinctly explain the benfits that your clients will derive. In terms of communicating this to the outside world …… networking, networking and networking!!!

Talk to your ‘coaching purchasers’ within your company and ask them how they find and select coaches.

Be creative, flexible and persistent – it will take time!! good luck
