I am looking to send some staff on to a project management training course. We have identified that a Prince2 course is not appropriate for our needs so therefore need to find a training supplier to offer a course to cover the core areas of project management: pm principles, project definitions, planning and scheduling, issue and risk management - to name a few.
With so many courses and training providers to choose from can anyone offer any recommendations?

I have used a company who has a trainer that specialises in Project management and tailor makes the workshop to meet the clients specific needs.

I’ve been on a superb 2-day Principles of Project Management course (offered with or without the PRINCE2 ‘flavour’) – an excellent introduction to Project Management, each module of theory is backed up by practical exercises.

My company offer a whole range of PM courses from introduction to ISEB and APM qualifications. We also have computer based training in the same subjects, so you can combine interactive multimedia for the introduction, followed by classroom training if required, so keeping the costs and time of office to a minimum.
