Sliding Scale for larger groups

default-16x9

Good day all,

Please help me with some sort of sliding scale you use for In house training. Do most of you give discounts for bigger groups or do you use a fixed amount per delegate.

For instance:

 1- 4 delegates = 0% discount on total invoice

5-10 delegates = 3 % discount on total invoice

10- 15 delegates = 5% discount on total invoice

15 & above = 7% discount on total invoice

What do you take into account when giving discounts? Do you give discounts? I thumbsucked the above, does it look ok?

One Response

  1. it depends on other factors…..

it takes as much time and effort to run a workshop for five as it does for 10…but 10 need twice the amount of handout material as five

Above 15 delegates you may need to employ a second trainer to manage small group activities, so it increases your delivery costs hugely

Delegate numbers may affect the learning value gained by individual delegates so smaller numbers may justify a greater fee due the quality of outcome

beware pricing by the head because you can end up delivering a course "designed" for 10 to a group of three for pocket money!

    I hope this helps
