Not sure whether this will help however we have an observer checklist to assess a group trainer. It is normally used as part of the feedback mechanism on a train the trainer course although I guess you could adapt to fit your need. The template is in our free trainer section at & http://www.abctrainingsolutions.biz/evaluation_skills_free_download.html (bottom of page) along with a self assessment questionnaire on essential interpersonal skills for trainers (just above the template).
