Thai-American-British cross cultural awareness

default-16x9

I am writing a customer service workshop for Thai delegates who deal frequently with US and UK internal customers. I'm looking for ideas on a cultural awareness section in the workshop and wondering if anyone's done anything similar or knows of a list of differences between the cultures I can use?

There has been a lot of research on this, Hofstede being the pioneerr, who based his work on IBM employees across the world. The GLOBE project updates his work, and worth looking at. Email me and I can send you more info. Ted

    Dear Hana,

I think we might be able to help you as we specialise in cross-cultural training and have more than 15 years experience in this field, including working with the Thai government. If you email me at [email protected] with a contact number and a time I can call you I can chat through some ideas with you – 200 words may not be enough space!

  3. Cultural awareness
    Hi Hana,

I have worked for US companies and have spent a great deal of time with the Thai community, whilst working abroad. In order to compile your workshop, it is extremely important to understand all of the cultures, prior to looking at the differences between them.

As there is insufficient space here, please feel free to e-mail me, and I will be happy to assist you.
