The THINQ TrainingServer® Learning Management System (LMS) successfully launched and tracked SCORM(tm)-conformant content developed for the U.S. Navy, and courseware
from several other content vendors at December's Plugfest 5 conference, held in Orlando, Fla. at the Orange County Convention Center. The demonstration supports the Chief of Naval Education and Training's (CNET)recent selection of THINQ to power Navy E-Learning for more than 1.2 million
members of the Department of the Navy. The Navy is developing all new courseware to conform to SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model)e-learning content interoperability standards.
As part of the Plugfest event, THINQ also demonstrated successful content exchanges between the THINQ TrainingServer (LMS) and courseware from Booz Allen Hamilton, Element K, VuCom, EG&G and FlexiLearn, among others, that also adhere to the latest version of SCORM, Version 1.2.
